Musical Background
At the young carefree age of 8, I was helping my Father clean out the attic and low and behold I discovered what had appeared to be a pirates "treasure chest." Upon opening it , I marvelled at it's wonderous, golden treasure. It was about then my Father reached from behind me and took this golden treasure from it's dusty coffin, held it up to his lips and low and behold erupted this awful honking sound. It was a trumpet. We brought it from the attic, cleaned it up and the next thing I knew I was enrolled in the school band

I played trumpet all through my elementary school years. Underneath the direction of Louis Dupuy, I performed for school plays, school band concerts, church, even at
City Park click here in the Pavillion. I continued playing trumpet in high school under the direction of Maurice Varnado, Bobby Ohler click here, and Eric Duboisson. I joined the concert band, marching band, and jazz band. It was at this point I had decided that music was going to play a large part in my life. I signed up in the choir and chorus to train and structure my vocal abilities.

In 1977 I put my first band together called "Blind Alley." We played for school dances and private functions. From there I started managing bands and promoted my first concert in the Houma Municiple Auditorium with the band "Equinox" in 1978.

In 1979 I organized, managed, and performed with the 50's & 60's show band "The T-Birds." We played for the school talent show and won 1st place. After graduation in 1980 we elected to persue nightclub venues where we achieved the status of becoming one of the most popular bands in the New Orleans metro area. In 1981 we were the opening band for
"Louisiana LeRoux"click here at the New Orleans Municiple Auditorium and also performed for and appeared on the Jerry Lewis Telethon click here.

I toured on the road in 1983 with the 50's & 60's show band "Gold Fever."

In 1987 I organized, managed, and performed with the 50's & 60's show band "Dual Exhaust."

In 1992 I left the "live band" scene to become one of the original "pioneers" in the Karaoke Entertainment industry in Louisiana. As one of the first Karaoke hosts in Louisiana, I am hosting "professional" Karaoke Shows 6 nights per week.
